The Tiny Treadmill: Fold & Store: $1295.00 The Lifespan TR200 folding treadmill is the smallest, most compact treadmill that we have ever seen that really does fold into a small enough size to put under a bed. Typically treadmills that make this claim are not exactly the best quality. The Canadian Tire Evolve is a good example of exercise equipment manufactured cheap enough to prompt an impulsive buy, but end up in a yard sale - no incline; no safety shut off ; less stable frame and an unreliable locking mechanism that allows the handle bars to disengage. The Lifespan TR200 however is one tough treadmill. With a strong 1.5 HP motor that ensures a smooth, not jerky walking motion; .05 to 8 mph; 10% incline and a weight capacity of 250 lbs with a 1" thick deck, it is smooth, sturdy; quiet and fits the bill for the average treadmill user short on space. The folding mechanism is quick and easy to do and allows the treadmill to fold and lock into either a complete 90% vertical position just 11" in depth to fit into a closet, behind a door or fold flat to slide under a bed. When in use the handlebars lock into place and provide stable support. A magnetic safety key clips to the clothing and will shut the motor off if it disengages for any reason. This also means children can't start the treadmill if the safety key is removed. Fully programmable with contact heart rate and a 5 year motor warranty at $1295. - its a good buy.
